Sanivation plans to reach 100,000 people in the next 3 years using a sustainable model which treats waste as a resource and users as customers. Sanitation provides a toilet service and charcoal alternative burning fuel at a rate households can afford due to a simple no mysteries closed loop system.

FoodCloud: connects businesses who wish to donate surplus food, to charities in their communities

FoodCloud is an social enterprise that initially set up through the Trinity College Dublin programme Enactus and is now a Not For profit company with two founders, two staff and two more joining the team in August. It was set up as a result of the food waste and food poverty situation in Ireland and around the work. 450,000 people in Ireland suffer from food poverty yet over one million tonnes are wasted annually. Ireland is the fifth worst waster of food in Europe and due to the economic recession more people than ever before are going hungry.
