Elevator Pitch

Concise Summary: Help us pitch this solution! Provide an explanation within 3-4 short sentences.

Through this venture we strive to bring about a positive change in India and subsequently the world. We want to equip the people of India with a platform in which they can collaborate and work together as a team to restore and protect their natural environment.

About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Auditing open waste disposal and lack of collective participation from people towards environment. Lack of an engaging common platform where people can report, collaborate and organize events which are aimed to check open waste disposal.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

We will provide a platform where people can rate the cleanliness of their surroundings. It's similar to a check-in mechanism followed by a rating meter with an ability to add comments and photos. Once this data is collected in our servers we can generate heat maps to find locations which require immediate attention across an area of inspection eg. city. People will be more aware of their surroundings and can collaborate on such issues collectively. NGO’s can opt for an area of focus in a city and work with volunteers and organize local events.
Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

1. A user checks in though a mobile app and rates the current state of cleanliness. 2. The user then adds specific comments and photos as proof of evidence. 3. The entry is added to our servers and is mapped to a pin on our customized google map. 4. Based on the rating the pin is colour coded. 5. NGO's and volunteers can access this centralized data and make analysis. 6. People can proactively participate and work along with NGO’s who are active in that area. 7. Once a site is regained, ratings for that location is updated by a moderator.

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

1. Mobile App End users 2. NGO'S 3. Volunteers 4. Moderators Open waste disposal is a menace particularly in urban India. Here the government is not able to keep pace with the extraordinary growth and widespread development leading to mismanagement and carelessness. It’s time that every citizen contributes, as open waste disposal is a common menace for all. People need to work proactively and sort common issues collectively. In the past we have noticed that a lot of NGO’s have worked to solve these issues, but none were able to scale them as they are never designed to scale. We strive to work for all and provide a collaborative platform for Government, volunteers, NGO’s and the very common man.
