About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

High School Students face the difficulties of acquiring core skills needed for the 21st century. Those skills aren’t included in their regular formal education which lasts for 12 years. Youth lack the ability to compete in job market. They rely on the formal education and can’t afford development courses. They can’t plan or develop their career because of lack of ability for planning and ignorance of continuous professional development. After graduating high school, Youth will be having as options either to continue their education at university level or to get a job. Whichever choice they finally adjust to the real world. Such being the situation, a number of questions arise: Do they feel they are ready prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century?

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

Integrating the use of supportive technologies so as to gain resources related to 21st century skills. Inquiry and problem- based approaches to enable youth to learn in relevant, real world 21st century contexts. Higher order thinking skills needed to adjust in today’s world versus their traditional school’s educational effectiveness. Encouraging knowledge sharing among communities of learners using virtual communications to provide youth the opportunity for reflection on and applying 21st Century Skills.
Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

Students will compile information related to the topic by browsing the internet at www.21stcenturyskills.org with all its resources and watching the video “21st century skills how do we get there?” Learners will use a weekly self-assessment and peer assessment grid of the work being done, receive, and debate feedback from teachers’ and Trainers’ monitoring/observation registers in weekly interviews with their teacher and trainer. Learners will work on The creation of the 21 Century skills website for knowledge sharing and networking. Compiling all acquired skills in the organization of the international online Summit of Intelligentsia which will constrict bridges between youth from Egypt, USA and all over the world Training of Trainer to top ten selected candidates who have accomplished their tasks on the project. those trainers will deliver the training to other groups and hence it will provide continuity

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

he program will run through the compiled activities of a mix of full time employees, Volunteers and Consultant. At EgyTEFL we managed to create strategic partnerships and reached out to stakeholders .,which provides opportunity of free access to resources from surrounding community. We have excelled over others in providing our beneficiaries the opportunity for documenting their work and gaining credibility for their work. Others may have succeed in providing somehow professional training to some learners, But their targeted beneficiaries were always mid career professionals not the high school students or undergraduate students. Also it has been a detached kind of service where others provide training with no chance or expectations of gaining access for getting hired or having job
