About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Living in a society where a woman can hardly develop a business because a low level of education, lack of capital but more important the absence of know how. There are in our regions women who make their living by selling handmade objects but they do it at a very small level because there isn't a market place for this kind of objects and also because they do not have marketing education. One of the biggest danger for this situation is the risk of a cultural disapearance because the young women don't manifest their interest in learning a handicraft that is not profitable. The Romanian family is still financial dependent on the man of the house because the woman can not be a good provider for her family.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

We intend to create a virtual platform where women can have access to an account in order to put up for sell their products. In the first part of the programme there will be a training in order to teach them how to use the platform and maintenance elements. A second part will consist on delivering to them marketing tools in order to promote their business online and get more customers. The last stage of the project consists on delivering a teaching programme focused on how to use social media in order to increase their business.
