Project Summary
Elevator Pitch

Concise Summary: Help us pitch this solution! Provide an explanation within 3-4 short sentences.

I'm at the first stage of the design of a private energy efficient house worth 50 thousand dollars. In my intention, this amount should include construction of all communication systems and basic renovation (without wallpaper, furniture, or interior decoration).

WHAT IF - Inspiration: Write one sentence that describes a way that your project dares to ask, "WHAT IF?"

What if regular people and people with cerebral palsy could be regarded as equal in modern societies and could build families together?
About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Our project will help break down social barriers and to provide comfortable living conditions for families where at least one person suffers from cerebral palsy.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

The project will be implemented with compliance of all environmental requirements for materials. The main difference of our project will be full energy efficiency of residential buildings. Our real goal lies in reducing the financial costs of maintenance of the house. We will also maximally keep disability benefit payments for the owners. The second phase of the project is the interior of such a house: furniture and technical equipment based on the regular use of a number of objects. The third stage is fine-tuning of the equipment and goods purchased for the house. We will also be able to test optimal forms of washing liquids that would be convenient both for disabled people with cerebral palsy and ordinary people.

Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

My project can help overcome ordinary views on cerebral palsy, promote green building standards and adjust the technology of home-based employment. It can become hope and support to more than a billion people worldwide. And the project is fighting discrimination against women and defends their right to choose their own life.

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

The source of financing will be profit from the sale of private residential properties in the city of Izhevsk, royalties from the publication of my book called “Training on immediate realization” and profit from the sale of the book with the help of partners.

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

To-date the project is unprecedented and unique for Russia.

Founding Story

Suffering from cerebral palsy since birth due to doctor's mistake, I dedicated my life to finding opportunities to integrate disabled people equally into the society. In the recent years, I have been analyzing how the phenomenon of the so-called "mixed" families (where 1 partner is disabled) is viewed in the society. My research shows that there are a number of social stigmas and fears connected with this idea, especially with regards to how the "regular" family member will be treated by friends and family. Irrespective of whether such a relationship is a success or a failure, the regular family member will be an outcast forever. This research made me realize that things have to change.

Being the founder of the project, I am also working with a Russian architect Alexander Remizov who specializes on energy efficient construction.
