Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

Iluonline seeks to address the problem of poverty among local producers or entrepreneurs. Also the problem of unawareness of products name and brands. The problem of products inaccessible and unavailability. Iluonline seeks to address the problem of totally depending on products made abroad therefore making our economy weak and poor.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

Iluonline intend sell strictly made in Nigeria products by creating awareness both online and offline and by doing general campaign on locally made goods thereby addressing the problem of unawareness, inaccessible and unavailability. We also intend to buy off products from local producers to resell thereby solving the problem of poverty among Nigerians. More importantly the platform is for local producers to show case to the World what we are capable of producing and therefore reducing the level of foreign products in our country and knowing that the economy development we crave for is made possible only if we can reduce out importation rate and increase our exportation rate.

Impact: How does it Work

Through our primary activities which is doing both online and offline adverts for locally made products and selling of local products we want to : To give voice to the voiceless local producers or entrepreneurs. We want to put food on the tables of local manufacturers because the level of patronage is poor but with Iluonline, the 180,000,000 people that can access the internet can patronize them. This will encouraging Nigerians to start up a business in any line of production. To put Nigeria on the World Competitive Market More importantly this is opening the eyes of Nigerian youths to other sectors of our economy not only on Oil and Gas. This solution will bring about oneness and Nigerian patronizing made in Nigeria products.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

The impact of the work is highly welcomed by local manufacturers. More than 90% of these local manufacturers are glad to be selling their products for the World to see and patronize. We have been able to witness the Joy and feeling of of been appreciated that is shown in faces of these local producers. We have been able to beat down the high price tags as seen in other sites as our 60% of customers are eager to buy same quality if not higher quality of goods on our site for lower prices. We have been able to promote locally manufacturer brands by optimizing each product in the brand name, hence we are not only selling their goods but also promoting their brands. We have been able to brand almost 70% products on our site, giving them name and also creating logo for them. The future of Iluonline is becoming the powerhouse of production in Nigeria and Africa at large.

Over they years less opportunities has been given to local manufacturers in Nigeria by both government and private individuals This is a unique ideal in the sense that it will create a sense relevancy among these people that they are appreciated and in return money is coming in for them It will spring forth the next generation of entrepreneurs or local manufactures because of the enlightenment campaigns Another major impact is that it will lead to the GDP growth of Nigeria economy Our exportation level will have a huge ground to increase It will a huge percentage of unemployment problems

our initiative financial sustainability are: Profit from sells of product bought off from manufacturers Taking at least 10% of every product sold on our platform Making profit from adverts placement on our platform profit from our logistics aspect. Making money from branding and packaging of products

As we speak we don't have an online company that sells strictly made in Nigeria products. The rest like Konga.com , Jumia.com.ng, dealdey.com, payporte.com, kaymu.com.ng, yudala.com etc are dealing with products made abroad. No one is addressing the problems outlined on here and this is a unique one because it tend to address a lot problem of hunger, poverty, unemployment, gender inequality, responsible consumption and production etc of the Nigeria economy.

Founding Story

Founding Iluonline was born from impetus and zeal to create a change in the economy statues quo of Nigeria and eradicate hunger and poverty among Nigerians. Over the years Nigerians have experienced an economy depression that is embedded in the total dependence on foreign made goods which has affected the standard of living and created lackadaisical mentality of inferiority. It is to this course and a host of others that we founded Iluonline,to create a platform for locally made products for the World to see using the Internet as major means.We have local producers in Fashions, Furniture, Artisans,Home&Kitchen,Metal works etc who are not known and they are producing top-notch products.

Team

We are a team of 8. 5 are university graduates in International studies and diplomacy, Economics, Accountant, Public Administration and System Hacking and Security. 3 are undergraduates. For now we tend to complement each other by knowing every aspect of e-commerce and branding local products as well as sourcing for merchants. As time goes on we intend to evolve the team by making sure everyone specialize in his field of study or area of passion. We also intend to employ specialist in these key areas like market analyst, metrics specialist, logistics specialist,strategic planner, customer service specialist etc.
