About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

I am trying to address the problem of lacking of offering a terciary education ( bachelor and master's degree ) to young girls in Africa. Young girls study well in high school, get their high school diploma and then the families mostly do not have the money to send them to universities even with all of their potentials and they do not know where to start if they would like to get a scholarship.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

RIJUSHASY is an organization that guides young girls in Africa who would like to study business or any other major that will help women create more jobs in the future. We guide them and help them getting a scholarship into a good university so that they can still further their education and get a bachelor degree so that they can be financially independent and self-sufficient + help other women when they go back with financial literacy, saving, investing money to grow, how to start a business with less than 1000$ and create jobs for other women by motivating and guiding other women in their countries to start businesses.

Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

For example an Angolan girl That we tried to help: Aline Analtina kassange who finishes high school About 4 years ago. She is 23 years old and instead of finishing her master's degree, she has yet to start her Friesland year and this is THE case of many young African girls they can't get into universiteit even with excellent graden due to financial problems and lack of support frm family members who think they Should just get married. Even after getting accepted into an university from switzerland who was covering 20 to 30 % of THE Costs. Aline could not get in because of financial problems, this was really sad and we could not help her furthering although we are still Teylingen until today.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

Some students have been able to obtain Internships. THE future impact is That at least 100 girls go back home after graduation to start a business, creatie jobs especially for Mothers who can not get jobs because of taking care of the children. Each one of THE businesses Will have a day care center for children so That mothers do not have to worry About iT.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

In 5 to 10 years this organizzations Will be spread in various countries in Africa and women With little children will have iT easier to find jobs and most women will be awareness of financial literacy and Will know how to save and invest their money to grow more.

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

My partner and I Will show them THE results by showing them THE practical Side of THE organization.

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

There are many, many projects on how to empower women. For example Shilpa Shetty just started one in India and in THE US Sanaa Lathan stared a foundation to empower women, but none of them is Linked with scholarships or creatief jobs for other women.

Founding Story

That was when many African students told me That they were just sittkng at home for 4 or 5 years with no jobs after graduating high school due to not being able to get into an university .
