About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

In Brazil there are currently thousands of insalubrious residences without land regularization and without the minimum of security for residents and their families . This influence directly the health and quality of life of these people, beyond this question, the reforms that this population does costs more around 30%, due to lack of planning. Similarly, there is the issue of the lack of security of living in areas without regularization.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

Our job is to provide safety, comfort and quality of life for these people, through a land regularization package and low complexity reforms that improve the problem of security and help to solve the insalubrity issues of house, in addition to enabling the property land for these families. In other words, reform and regularization are means to provide greater security for the house, quality of life for residents and empowerment front of th society, open up opportunities to participate in other programs aimed to C and D class . The solutions aim to optimize existing procedures, clear the "hacks" that are inefficiently used to remedy the problem in this way, the two packages will offer solutions that actually work and are of quality.

In the house of Mr.Celma Moradigna was carried out waterproofing of the walls, which were very damp and musty. Inthe house has resided five people and one of them elderly and has health problems related to breathing,. So, with the reform the problem with the damp and musty has solve, and the residents get a better place to leave and improving quality of life for all the residentes.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

Until now, Moradigna impact direct 70 people, and indirect 100 people. Our major impact is with the reform solution, improving the quality of live to 70 people, that now have a dignity house to live, without unsanitary problems.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

In the future, Moradigna wants to start work with anothers comunities, and through the empowerment of all the comunity, transform the idea in a franchising. Why? Because the bricklayers that Works to Moradigna will can have their own Moradigna franchising, and transform theirselves in a entrepreneur, increasing their income and bringing further development, jobs and income flow to the community

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

The iniciative is a social bussines, so it has a demand to a initial investment, but in the future with service income, the social bussines will be sustainble

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Our competitors are bricklayers who conduct residential construction and law firms that does land regularization. The bricklayers doesn't have the technical knowledg and sometimes, use more material that is necessary, making the reform more expensive. The law firms doesn't know how to relate with the C and D social classes.

Founding Story

The Moradigna ideia starts because of the problem that founder suffered in his house. His mother, which is old, had some problem to acess the entrance of her house, and the Fouder looks around his comunity and saw that this problem were very common. So, the founder has participed in a start-up weekend and create the Moradigna solution. The time passed and he had the opportunity to found his ideia with a partner and starts to implement Moradigna in his comunity, first, with his mother house. Moradigna recieved a seed investment from friends, familiy and parteners and starts the operation in the middle of this year.
