About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

to provide continuous income stream for young Nigerian creative entrepreneurs through easy access to a marketplace built and dedicated towards their growth,acceptance,improvement and sales. because most entrepreneurs within the creative product scope fail much faster that they start and its not because they aren't good enough or they can get better but because they are limited in access to the marketplace where their works are appreciated.

imagine a university graduate with no job but good at creating well beaded home made accessories, gets to be seen by all users on the platform ,her creative post being followed by user all around the continent bought by those that see into the product beauty and while the platform also help her manage the product movement and payment from the buyer wherever they stay in Nigeria.she can also get to improve on her craft ,through co-creation& suggestion from her follower on the platform. this takes her from jobless to a sustainable stream of income

we have just launched and we are working on driving more seller registrations

Having micro and small scale creative product businesses in Nigeria connect with the world and expanding operations to other African countries thereby allowing for the unique African expression to be seen and bought into from buyers all around the world.

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

we intend to generate income from transactional fees and sponsored adverts on the platform. Though we are starting with outsourcing logistics we can also run it ourselves in the later future and earn from it too.

Though jumia and konga only provide a platform for sales, we intend to provide a platform that build users into acceptance and connection with their creative sellers and also co-create value with them while making sales. we envision a marketplace where creativity,co-creation in style and essence and connection with user as the main selling point.we see product creation to be an evolving market where its value are to be determined by the combination of creators and customers input and its quickly adaptable to change and newness

Founding Story

I realized that many of my Nigerian friends have so much to offer with regards to creating products in fashion,craft,processed food etc , but the Nigerian market is totally saturated by foreign brands making it had for young Nigerians to express their creativity and earn from it. I believe, if a platform can exist that gives them the needed marketplace space and promote their wares in a unique blend that offer freshness& pride in them, it would restore confidence in the youths and empower them to live sustainable and not dependent on a job. A platform where seller and buyer co-create value to improve innovation and variety in style,essence and beauty while making sustainable income
