Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

with proper training these young children will become better manage finances. women will have needed to successfully start a business to help with the extra income tools. likewise help parents be able to make the money go further, and learn how to make the products they grow (in the case of farmers) can thrive with its products, developing industry field.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

currently, there are now more than 50 children benefited from these programs, 10 of which already have a small business that help family and trains entrepreneurs for the challenges that demand our time. it also promotes the empowerment of women, making them able to start new businesses (crafts, sale of items) that not only benefit your family, if not the community. if this project is funded it could be improved agricultural industry of Yucatan, which is currently lagging, as currently occurs what is going into the hands of a few businessmen and abuse the need of the farmer, doing outside of fair trade practices

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

we work in rural areas, it is planned within five years to reach production to cope with the demand of the products which you can sell agricultural products. 10 years raises a position in the agriculture industry around the world, creating investment by international and national companies, and to encourage local entrepreneurs to develop their business
Sustainability

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

education is the best investment. to invest in education for these individuals the growth of the agricultural industry to be sold is guaranteed, and thereby make these business plans to support the community, improving not only your income if not the management of public works which have access (road, water, electricity)

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Currently there are many projects that improve the quality of life of others like installing solar panels (as the Mexican project that sells solar panels at low costs), or improving their nutrition, which are very important needs. however, always they require social assistance if projects that promote economic development are made. The project aims to improve their economic situation travez adequate training to manage their income and not rely more on welfare

Founding Story

Roland and Paul are two friends who were long time helping people going to church and going to villages to Community assistance to indigenous people. soon they realized that most of the families lived on less than $ 200 a month, so they investigated why, despite having local products of very high quality. the answer was because the products they sold did not have adequate prices (12 dlls for a hammock that costs 40) who created UNE to ensure that children do not make the same mistakes and support adults.

Team

we make contracts with universities to provide social services and so getting people to join the cause, just as volunteers together through our programs and we are now more than 50 people serving communities.
