CONSUMING HONEY OF QUALITY IS A GREAT WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH(HIV/AIDS) AND A GREAT SOURCE OF ESSENTIAL VITAMINS AND OTHERS FOR THE HEALTH OF A PERSON.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS ALWAYS HAD A COMPONENT OF HONEY, RELATED TO ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIAL IMPACT, IT NEVER CAME TO A SUCCESS BECAUSE THERE WAS A LACK OF MARKET AND HONEY COULD NOT BE COMERCIALISED FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.
COMPLICATED BEE-HIVES WERE INTRODUCED (LANDSTROTH) WHICH ARE TOO SOPHISTICATED IN COMPARISON WITH THE TRADITIONAL “BARK-HIVES”.
IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A SUCCESS AND PRODUCE HONEY OF QUALITY THAN A TRANSITION HAS TO BE UNDERTAKEN TO A “BAR-HIVE”, WHICH HAS A LOT OF ADVANTAGES BUT ALSO COSTS MONEY, FAR MORE THAN A BARK-HIVE.

TO START , THE LOCAL MARKET IS THE MOST FEASIBLE AND WILL PAY THE HIGHEST PRICES , AS FOR THE FORMAL AS FOR THE INFORMAL MARKET.
THE REGIONAL MARKET, SOUTH AFRICA ,IS INTERESTING BUT NEEDS DIRECT OUTLEDS INSTEAD AS THROUGH EXPENSIVE AGENTS.
EUROPEAN UNION, NEEDS CERTIFICATION , WHICH COSTS A LOT OF MONEY AND ALMOST 14 MONTHS TO GET CERTIFICATION.
JAPAN, KOREA ARE “NICHE “ MARKETS, WHICH CAN COPE WITH TOP-QUALITY ORGANIC HONEY AND ARE PREPARED TO PAY A GOOD TOP PRICE.

EVERY YEAR THERE WAS AN INCREASE IN QUANTITY, AND AS A COMMODITY TRADER I BECAME INTERESTED AND STARTED TO INVESTIGATE THE HONEY MARKETS AROUND THE WORLD.
THE GENERAL SITUATION WHICH THE BEE POPULATION , THE DISEASES ,THE QUALITY DECLINE, ANTIBIOTICS IN HONEY , TOOK ME TO START TAKING SAMPLES AND SEND IT TO DIFFERENT LABS IN SOUTH AFRICA FOR ANALYSES, IN THE MEANTIME I STARTED WITH SOME STUDENTS IN MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING A FULL INTERNET STUDY ABOUT ALL RELATED ISSUES OF HONEY AND OTHER INDEGENOUS PRODUCTS LIKE MARULA OIL ETC.
THE ANALYSES OF THE HONEY WERE DESASTROUS, EVEN TRACES OF HUMAN FAECES WERE FOUND IN THE SAMPLES.HAS ALL THE NECESSARY CONDITIONS.

THE NATURAL CONDITIONS IN MOZAMBIQUE ARE ALL EXISTING FOR PRODUCING TOP QUALITY , ORGANIC, HONEY AND OTHER REALTED PRODUCTS.
