Since I was as a child at school I have been looking for a solution for dyslexia. First, I found explanations studying Linguistics, and later I started
doing research to build solutions while doing a master in Natural Language Processing and a PhD in Human Computer Interaction receiving some awards such as the European Young Researchers' Award or Innovator under 35, TR35 MIT’s Technology Review Spain. Currently, we are working on identifying and treating dyslexia using scientific games at large scale.
The mission of Change Dyslexia is making cutting edge scientifically-based solutions for dyslexia available for everyone. These solutions are two non-profit tools to make dyslexia detection universal (Dytective) and affordable intervention games to support dyslexia (Dynosaur and Piruletras).
Our goals are:
— to finalize school failure due to dyslexia;
— empower all agents related to dyslexia: children, families, professionals, educational systems and public institutions;
— make detecting and overcoming dyslexia fun.
