I have been an adherent climate campaigner, green growth advocate, volunteer on human progress and economic development, I have been working on sustainable development through climate change adaptation and mitigation for over four years, I have participated and actively engaged directly in activities that bring sustainable development in my community through developing clean cooking solutions and tree plantation programs along the desert front line states in Northern Nigeria which invariably reduce poverty among my local community. I am Youth Coordinator at United Nations University -Regional Center of Expertise Kano, I am also Founder and Executive Director at the Centre for Renewable Energy and Action on Climate Change (CREACC-Nigeria) an NGO that engaged extensively on a multi faceted climate and renewable energy related activities that help bridge poverty gap in Nigeria. I wrote and delivered several papers on climate change, sustainability and renewable energy within and outside my country. I was conferred with an award as the Best Environmental Campaigner in a State that has over 3,000,000 people. I am also sponsored by United Nations University -Institute for Advance Study of Sustainability to attend Youth Unite for Voluntary Action YUVA Meet 2014 in India, also attend conference on Higher Education for Sustainable Development in Japan, attend UNESCO World Conference on ESD also in Japan 2014. I am skilled in management, leadership, and climate negotiations. Selected among 43 out of over 15,000 applicants from Nigeria as Fellow, Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, a US State Department program. I have BSc in Economics from prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria; currently pursuing MSc in Education for Sustainability at London South Bank University. I also had certificates from UC Berkeley, Earth Institute, Solar Energy International USA, World Bank Institute, UNIDO Institute, ILO International Training Centre, TERI India, and UNITAR
